Alzheimer's

Dementia Caregiver Support Group

A monthly support group to share caregiving strategies and resources for those who care for others with dementia, such as Alzheimer's, Frontotemporal-Pick's, Vascular, Lewy Body, and Parkinson's disease.  Sponsored by Saint Mary's and the Greater Michigan Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. There is no cost to attend.

Date: First Wednesday of every month

Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

MS Support Group

A monthly support group for Multiple Sclerosis patients, families and friends. Meetings will include education, discussion and refreshments. There is no cost to attend.

Date: Fourth Thursday of every month

May 23: Craig Houchen from the Wege Mind Body Spirit Clinic will talk about Complementary and Alternative Medicine and how it can be used in MS. ROOM CHANGE: Meeting will be held in Wege 7&9
June 27: Dr. Ho from MFB will discuss spasticity in MS.

Spine

Spine Fusion Class

A monthly gathering for patients and their families to discuss their upcoming lumbar fusion surgery. This is an informative global overview of the surgery; what to expect before, during and after surgery. The class is taught by a Registered Nurse and a Physical Therapist. There is no cost to attend.

Dates and Times: Second Monday of every month, 10 a.m. to Noon

AND

Fourth Thursday of every month, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
