Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)/Lou Gehrig's Disease

The only ALS center in West Michigan, Saint Mary’s ALS program works in partnership with Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital and Michigan State University. It is the 38th ALS center in the country to be certified by the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and includes an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, social workers, physiatrists, pulmonologists, neuropsychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, dietitians, respiratory therapists and wheelchair specialists.
